For this experiment, we picked the dog niche as we love dogs, and selected the dog training affiliate program with the highest gravity from ClickBank, which indicated that it converted highly. We decided to work on this experiment for four hours, as most people working on a side hustle after work or on weekends usually have about four hours to spare.
The first step was to find low competition keywords to put into Chat GPT to generate blog title ideas. The YouTube tutorial recommended an SEO tool called
H Super Tools, but we found it unreliable and did not want to share our personal information with a website that had no information about its creators. Therefore, we substituted it with a trustworthy SEO app called
SEMrush, which provided related keywords with an easy ranking.
Next, we used Chat GPT to generate blog topic titles using the recommended command from the tutorial. We were impressed by the creativity of some of the titles, but we decided to go with a more descriptive title, "Patience and Inconsistency: Keys to Potty Training Your German Shepherd Puppy," to avoid confusing the AI while generating the blog post
The next step was to use Chat GPT to generate a blog outline using the recommended command. The AI took about 30 seconds to create a full blog outline, and we were impressed with the quality of the outline, which had to sift through older and newer articles to recommend the best approach to potty training dogs positively.
The last step was to post the blog post on platforms like Medium and Quora and add affiliate links to products in them. We received traffic from internal traffic and search engines, and we were pleased with the outcome, which generated over $500 in a week. Although we did not reach our goal of $6,000 in a week, we believe that it is possible to make a decent amount of money using Chat GPT to generate content and earn from affiliate products.
